Dental assistant
Job Description Overview: We are seeking a caring, self-motivated, and hardworking Dental Clinical Assistant for a part-time role in a family-oriented general dentistry practice.
Duties: Assist the dentist in general family dentistry procedures and prepare, organize, autoclave, and package instruments. Greet patients, answer phones, and address inquiries. Schedule appointments using Eaglesoft, manage patient records, and follow HIPAA regulations. Maintain operatory and clinic cleanliness during unscheduled time. Occasionally verify insurance coverage, collect payments, and provide billing information.
part-time $16 - $22 per hour

Shift & ScheduleFriday availability required. Working hours are 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with end times depending on patient overflow.
RequirementsLicense/Certification: Active Maryland X-ray certification and active CPR certification are required.
PreferencesTagalog language proficiency, minor proficiency or willingness to learn Eaglesoft, and previous dental clinical assistant or reception experience are preferred.
