Perfecto Staffing has a need for Forklift Operators / Material Handlers. Our client is located in Olive Branch. This is a 2nd Shift, 2:00 p.m. - 11:45 p.m. MON-FRI . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Job Summary

We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, store, and transport materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or electric pallet jack equipment as required.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Stage materials for shipping, and receiving operations.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualification s

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Experience loading, unloading, and moving materials in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.
• Experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
• Exposure to moving equipment, noise, and changing temperatures.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay - $19.50 - 20.50/HR
