Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals with medical needs. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized vehicles to transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring comfort, punctuality, and safety at all times. • Safely operate non-emergency medical transportation vehicles, including wheelchair and gurney vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support as needed
• Ensure vehicles are well-maintained by conducting routine inspections, basic maintenance checks, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while accommodating patient needs and appointment schedules
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, patients, healthcare facilities, and team members to coordinate transportation schedules and address any concerns
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices while maintaining safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (No more than 1 accident or moving violation in the last 3 years)
• Experience in paratransit or heavy lifting tasks preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience in bus driving or commercial driving is a plus but not required
